Odd shopping lists...

I had to stop by the grocery store on my way home from work yesterday to pick up a few things. It didn't take long to grab my items, but standing in line was a different story so I stood and watched people as they waited.

In doing so, I noticed that a woman a few people ahead of me in line had a 6 pack of beer and 1 roll of toilet paper. What? Who buys one roll of toilet paper? And wouldn't it be a lot cheaper to buy multiple rolls at a time?

When she finally got to the register she added a pack of cigarettes to the other 2 items, paid for her stuff (and got $20 cash back) and left the store.

And all I could think of was...what an combo of items...not so much the beer and cigarettes...but the one roll of TP.

Could they be any cuter...

I bought "costumes" for Pebbles and Bam Bam at Target and I'm so glad I did. These past few weeks have been very difficult and I needed a good laugh...which I got from seeing how cute they are in their costumes.

This is for you, Misty!

Pebbles as a giraffe.

A lot to say, but not a lot of words...

Recently I asked my friend Patricia why she hadn't blogged in a while and she said that she didn't have anything of great import to say.

I, on the other hand, have quite a lot to say, but don't have the energy to say it.

My dad called last Tuesday evening to tell me that my grandmother had taken a turn for the worse and, according to her wishes, they had removed the feeding tube. She passed away about 36 hours later.

My emotions since that call on Tuesday have been up and down and all over the place. We spent a few days in NY and just got back last night. Chris and I have been home today trying to relax and get back to reality. But today has been a rough day for me and for some reason today has been worse than yesterday.

There's so much more I could say, but just don't feel like I can say it right now.

Thanks to all those who have been praying for us and thinking of us during this time.
